Man With Gun Refuses To Leave Denver Home

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are trying to end a standoff with a man who has refused to leave his home. The man has a gun.

The situation began as a domestic violence call to police about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

When police arrived at the home at 40th and Clayton, the man refused to leave.

There was a woman involved but she was able to escape the home and is in a safe place.

Police have been negotiating with the man, trying to convince him to surrender to police.
