Man Throws Coffee At Convenience Store Clerk's Face

DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver have released surveillance images of a man who threw a cup of coffee at a store clerk's face in hopes that someone will recognize the attacker.

The incident happened on Oct. 21 inside the 7-Eleven near the intersection of Yuma Street and Alameda Avenue in west Denver.

Before walking into the store police say the man asked several customers to help him steal cars.

Police say after the man walked inside, he asked the clerk for a cup of coffee and then threw it in his face.

Afterwards, customers pushed the man out of the store and the attacker maced one of them in the process.
