DENVER (CBS4) - A man has been sentenced to four years behind bars in a deadly hit-and-run.

Police arrested Nathan Beechley, 31, on April 8. He is accused of killing Jonathan Lewis.

Police say evidence at the scene such as car parts and tips from the public led to the arrest of Beechley. The car in the hit-and-run was also recovered in Aurora where the suspect lives.

"In this particular case, the information we received, once we started to develop that information, took us right to a certain location, and a certain person," Sgt. Mike Farr with Denver police said.
