Man Sentenced To 36 Years For Fatal Stabbing

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) — A 30-year-old Englewood man has acknowledged stabbing a woman to death in his apartment.

The Arapahoe County District Attorney's Office says Arthur William Price pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 36 years in prison for the Aug. 7, 2013, death of Katrina Pacheco.

Prosecutors say Price stabbed Pacheco twice in his Arapahoe County apartment, then ran to his mother's apartment in the same complex saying that he had killed a woman and watched her bleed.

Investigators say he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.45 percent at the time. That's more than five times the legal limit.
