Man Sentenced For Assaults On 6 Children
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4)- A man who admitted to sexually assaulting children has been sentenced to 30 years in prison followed by decades of probation.
On May 12, a judge in Weld County sentenced Mark Aguirre to 30 years in the Department of Corrections followed by 30 years to life in the sex offender intensive supervised probation.
Aguirre previously pleaded guilty to first-degree assault causing serious bodily injury and sexual assault on a child.
Aguirre was found to have sexually assaulted and molested six children, both male and female ranging in age from six to 15 years old. Police say Aguirre used force, made threats with weapons including knives and lured the children with candy.
