Man Rescued At Rocky Mountain National Park

ESTES PARK, Colo. (AP) — A man who became disoriented while snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park is safe after he was rescued by a search team that had been following his tracks.

Park spokeswoman Kyle Patterson says the man called on a cell phone Thursday afternoon to tell them he was lost near Flattop Mountain in bad weather. Rangers tried to talk the man down the mountain, but went to find him after it became dark. They found him Thursday night.

The man's name has not been released.
