Man Kills Wife, Commits Suicide In Fort Collins
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman and man were killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Fort Collins on Thursday.
According to police, just after 4:30 a.m. officers responded to the 2200 block of Eastwood Drive on a call reporting a woman may have been injured.
"Officers found the woman had been shot and was deceased. Information received by Fort Collins police indicated that the suspect in the woman's death was likely her husband and may commit suicide," police said in a statement.
Officers later found the suspect's vehicle near the Edora Pool and Ice Center.
"An intensified search led officers to the deceased body of the identified suspect in this case," police said.
Police said there is no threat to the community.
Names of the couple haven't been released.
