Construction Worker Rescued After Getting Trapped In Trench In Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Emergency crews in Aurora have gotten a construction worker who got buried in a trench out and to a hospital.

The trench is located on the 1400 block of South Oakland Street, near East Florida Avenue and South Peoria Street. Officials described it as unstable.

The man's condition wasn't clear.

Authorities said the man was working on a sewer line in front of a house when he fell into a hole and then the trench caved in.

It took crews more than 30 minutes to get the man out, and officials said they were treating the victim while he was stuck.
