When officers arrived at the scene they found several people in the field where the body was, and they indicated that some or all of those people may be "of the transient population."

On Sunday there was a big police presence at the crime scene.

"Anytime we have a grid search it takes a lot of people to do it quickly and effectively so we can take advantage of the daytime before the weather comes in," McCoy said.
