Man Charged After Child Porn Found On Work Computer At DIA
DENVER (CBS4) - A man accused of having pornographic images of children on his work computer for the City and County of Denver has been formally charged.
Neil S. Cleary has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child.
The charge alleges that Cleary, 64, possessed and viewed child pornography both on his work and home computer. Cleary was a contract compliance representative of Denver International Airport.
The allegations were discovered and reported by technology staff at DIA.
Court documents obtained by CBS4 claim he used the search engine Bing and looked at websites such as "Very Young Little Girl Models," "Teen Models," and others referring to nudism. The arrest affidavit released Wednesday says the sites were "indicative of pornography websites involving children."
The court documents claim Cleary told an investigator he had a "big problem with pornography" and "getting old sucks" and beauty in society is catered to the young generation.
One search found on his computers referred to "accidental downloading of child pornography."
Cleary has been released from custody on a $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Thursday, July 3 at 1:30 p.m. for his second advisement on the charge.
