Man Charged After Allegedly Flashing Badge To Drivers

DENVER (CBS4)- A man has been charged with impersonating a peace officer after he allegedly posed as a police officer and flashed a badge to other drivers.

Richard Bugdanowitz was charged on Monday. The charges allege that on Aug. 5 he posed as a police officer and flashed a badge to other drivers while he was driving on Colorado Boulevard near Interstate 25.

He has been released from custody on a $2,000 bond. Bugdanowitz, 72, is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Oct. 29.
