Man Badly Injured In Fall At Condo Complex In Dillon

DILLON, Colo. (CBS4) - A man was badly injured after a walkway bridge collapsed at a condominium complex in Dillon on Wednesday.

According to Steve Lipsher with Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue, the man was working at the Orofino condominium complex and was testing the integrity of the concrete bridge linking the upper units of the complex when it collapsed.

The man fell about 25 feet onto the sidewalk below. He was transported to St. Anthony Summit Medical Center.

When the bridge collapsed it left a girl in one of the second floor units stranded. Firefighters used a ladder to rescue her.
