Man Attempting To Steal Purses In Capitol Hill Neighborhood
DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver have issued a warning about a man who has been attempting to steal women's purses in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
According to police, the suspect has approached three separate women and attempted to steal their purses between Oct. 10 and Oct. 20.
The suspect is describes a white man, approximately 5-foot-6 with medium build.

Citizens carrying a purse or backpack should always be aware of their surroundings and try to avoid walking alone in dark areas. If possible, don't carry a purse, but if necessary, try to hide it under a jacket or wear one that fits across the body. Put belongings in a pocket or carry as minimal as possible to avoid losing valuables.
