Man Arrested In Garden Of The Gods Chemical Bombs Case
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Colorado Springs say one person has been arrested and another is set to be ticketed after two chemical bombs in bottles were found in the Garden of the Gods parking lot over the weekend.
A bomb squad was called to the popular park in the northwestern part of the city late Saturday morning. Police said they found and disposed of the bombs.
Zachary Sirko, 22, was arrested and has been ticketed in the case. Ashley Snyder, 21, now has an outstanding criminal ticket.
Police said there is no threat to the public in relation to the discovery.
Authorities said media reports about the case were helpful to them in capturing a suspect.
