Man Arrested In Florida In Connection With Denver Murder

DENVER (AP/CBS4) - Police say a suspect has been arrested in Florida in connection with the death of a man found in a Denver home last week.

Denver police announced Monday that Daniel J. Gonzales, 31, was taken into custody in Orlando on Thursday by members of FBI Safe Streets with help from police there.

The arrest came a day after the body was found in the northwest Denver home located in the 2600 block of Java Court by police doing a welfare check. Investigators have not said how the man was killed.

The identification of the victim and cause of death will be released by the coroner's office.
