Man Arrested After Escaping Custody

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4)- The man wanted by Larimer County Sheriff's deputies was arrested on Thursday afternoon, about 20 hours after he escaped from custody.

William Morgan was arrested about 1 p.m. Thursday in an apartment near where he had initially been taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon. The occupants of that apartment were interviewed by investigators.

Morgan was arrested for an outstanding felony failure to appear drug warrant just before 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of 16th Street SW in Loveland.

He escaped from the patrol vehicle.

Deputies caught up to him on Thursday afternoon and booked him into the Larimer County Jail for one felony warrant, one misdemeanor warrant and the new allegation of escape.
