Man Accused Of Stabbing Brother To Death Formally Charged

DENVER (CBS4) – A man accused of stabbing his brother to death last week has been formally charged.

According to Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney's office, James Robert Morrison, 28, has been charged with first-degree murder.

"The charge alleges that in the early morning hours of Nov. 13, James Morrison repeatedly stabbed his brother, Jesse Morrison, in their home in the 3500 block of Elm Street. He died a short time later from his injuries," Kimbrough said in a statement.

Morrison is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday to be formally advised of the charge.
