Man Accused In Series Of Carjackings, 75-Mile Chase Will Get Jury Trial
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) – A man accused in a series of carjackings and a 75-mile chase through the Denver metro area will get a jury trial next year.
Ryan Stone, 28, allegedly stole an SUV with a child inside in Longmont last March. Copter4 followed as Stone was accused of carjacking two other vehicles during the morning rush hour.
Stone's 2-week trial is scheduled to begin on April 21. He faces 26 charges, including attempted murder for injuring a Colorado state trooper during the chase.
