Loveland Spends Double This Spring To Fix Potholes
LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4)- Potholes are a big problem for drivers and street repair crews in Loveland this spring, even bigger than previous years.
The superintendent of streets in Loveland said the particularly snowy spring along with the roller coaster cycle of freezing and thawing temperatures has caused a lot more road damage than crews typically see this time of year.
That has pothole repair crews out on the roadways patrolling for problems and then patching those holes.
The City of Loveland has already spent double so far this year than what it typically has by the end of March.
That bill totals nearly $15,000.
