Ready For The Slopes? Loveland Tests Snow Guns

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - With only a few days left of summer, Loveland Ski Area is wasting no time getting ready for snow. The ski area tested its snow guns on Tuesday.
They say they hope to officially start making snow in about 12 days.
Their usual open date is in mid-October. Last year they opened on Oct. 20.
The ski area and neighbors saw a dusting of snow last week, so anticipation is mounting.
