Loveland Keeps Love In The Air For Valentine's Day

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4)- Loveland is getting ready for its 70th year of the valentine re-mailing program.

Volunteers stamp a poem on envelopes along with the Loveland post mark to send along special valentine's wishes.

More than 160,000 valentines are mailed through the program each year. People from around the world send pre-addressed, pre-stamped valentines through the northern Colorado city in order to get them stamped with the city's romantic postmark.

They're then sent on to their final destinations.
