Lost Out-Of-Bounds Skier Found

DURANGO, Colo. (CBS4) – An out-of-bounds skier at the Durango Mountain Resort has been found after being lost for several hours.

The skier, Alex Magennis, 42, was reunited with his family on Saturday after disappearing on Friday.

Magennis told deputies he got lost looking for an area he skied 10 years ago.

The La Plata County Mounted Patrol found him in the midst of a massive snowstorm.

Magennis was cold and exhausted but is going to be okay.
