Lookout Mountain Road Closed Due To Fatal Accident

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Lookout Mountain Road is closed because of a fatal accident.
Trooper Nate Reid with the Colorado State Patrol confirms one person died on scene and that the road is currently shut down after a vehicle rolled down the mountain off the road.

The accident happened near the big "M" on the side of Lookout Mountain.
No other cars were involved.
State Patrol tweeted that the lone vehicle involved was a Dodge Ram pickup that struck a guardrail as the road curved. The lone occupant, a male driver, died on scene.
Dodge Ram PU on Lookout Mtn Rd struck guardrail as road curved to left, rolled down embankment. Male driver and sole occupant died on scene.

It is unknown how long the road will be closed.
