'Little Stinker' Corpse Flower Closes At Botanic Gardens

DENVER (CBS4)- Things began to smell a little better at the Denver Botanic Gardens on Monday after the corpse flower nicknamed "little stinker" closed on Sunday.

The same plant bloomed a year ago but this year's blossom was much smaller. The flower unexpectedly bloomed on Saturday morning.

Botanists around the country say a lot of corpse flowers have bloomed this year.

While "little stinky" is done blooming, the plant is still there for visitors to see.
