Liquor Store Burglars Caught On Tape

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Surveillance cameras at a Jefferson County liquor store caught burglars in the act.

The burglary happened at a store on South Kipling Street near Belleview Avenue. Surveillance video captured two men using landscaping rocks to smash through the front door.

After nearly two minutes the suspects break in and steal a cash register and liquor.

Investigators say the suspects planned the burglary and were wearing gloves and hoodies. They also covered their faces with bandannas.

There have been similar crimes in Lakewood and Wheat Ridge recently.

No arrests have been made and it's unclear if all the cases are related.
