Lindsey Vonn Breaks Arm While Training In Colorado

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. (CBS4) - Skiing gold medalist Lindsey Vonn broke her arm on Thursday while training in Colorado and has undergone surgery.

Lindsey Vonn wrote on Facebook that she fractured her humerus bone. The Facebook post included a photo of the X-ray of her broken bone.

"I had successful surgery last night in Vail and everyone took great care of me," she wrote in a post published on Friday afternoon.

Vonn said she is frustrated by the injury, which is one of many she has suffered during her record-breaking skiing career. She says she will "return to the slopes as soon as possible."
