Limited Edition Broncos Super Bowl Football Benefits Make-A-Wish Foundation
DEVNER (CBS4) - It's been an exciting season for Broncos fans. To help remember it, fans can get their hands on a limited edition Broncos football, and it's all for a great cause.
Stacie Winslow with the Make-A-Wish Foundation stopped by CBS4 studios to talk about the football.
"It's such an amazing opportunity for Bronco fans in Colorado to be able to support Make-A-Wish. It's a commemorative football, there are 5,000 being made," Winslow said.
The footballs run $99 and $6 from the sale of every one goes to Make-A-Wish Colorado.
"Multiply that by 5,000 and you realize we're earning $30,000 from the sale of a Broncos football," Winslow said.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity, they are individually numbered, and it comes with an acrylic display case to protect it.
"It's the first and only time that a commemorative football will be made with the Super Bowl logo in regular numbers instead of Roman numerals."
The football also commemorates the Broncos two previous Super Bowl wins. It also has the entire Broncos schedule and results.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
"The magical thing is this single football will grant the wishes of four children. The average cost of a wish is about $7,500."
