DENVER (CBS4) - RTD's E, F and H lines stalled Tuesday morning after a wire broke near Interstate 25 and Broadway. The repairs were conducted and service was restored a short time later.

Passengers on the train that got stuck had to get off and walk onto a train that headed back towards the Louisiana and Pearl station.

RTD was running buses between Broadway, Louisiana and University to transport passengers during the delay.

"It is annoying but most of the time they're spot on... so, you kind of take the one in 100 when it happens. Not too annoyed, but it's inconvenient," said RTD passenger Sean O'Conner.

The repairs were expected to be complete by 9:45 a.m. and trains were expected to resume service at that time.
