Liberian Community Continues To Raise Supplies To Fight Ebola

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Members of Colorado's Liberian community loaded boxes to send back to their native country on Friday. They've been putting together supplies for weeks to help fight Ebola in West Africa.

There are things like bleach and protective medical gear.

Pastor of Christ Vision International Ministries, Rev. Simeon Mensa, says members are constantly hearing about more loss.

"You know they lose relatives, loved ones, every day," Simeon said. "A Lot of pain, lot of pain … every week we visit members of lost relatives … asking God to console them."

The supplies will go to Project C.U.R.E. who will ship them overseas.

Project C.U.R.E. also has a way for anyone to donate to help the victims of Ebola. Visit the Project C.U.R.E. website for more information.
