2nd Trial For Man Suspected In Murder Of Woman Living Double Life Begins

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4) - The retrial for a man suspected in the murder case of Paige Birgfeld is underway.

The retrial for Lester Jones began on Monday.

Jones is accused in Birgfeld's disappearance back in 2007. Her remains were found in 2012.

Birgfeld was a single mother who lived a double life as an escort. Jones was one of the last people to call her.

Jones' lawyers argue there is no physical evidence connecting him to the crime.

The jury in the first trial could not reach a unanimous verdict.
