Legacy High School Lockout Lifted After Threat Investigation

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- Legacy High School in Broomfield was placed on lockout status Tuesday morning during a threat investigation. The lockout was lifted just after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The threat against the school was made with an anonymous phone call. Investigators said the call originated out of state in Philadelphia.

Broomfield police dispatched an increased presence to the school, located at 2701 W 136th Ave. All students and staff are safe inside the school.

Investigators said the caller meant to cause panic with the threat and will likely face charges if they are caught.
