Lawmakers Agree To Ease Concealed-Carry Renewals

DENVER (AP) - Concealed-gun permit holders would have greater flexibility to renew their permits under a bill awaiting the signature of Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper.

The state Senate voted 34-0 Tuesday to allow the renewal of concealed-carry permits at any sheriff's office. Current law requires people to renew their permits with the sheriff's office that issued it.

The bill has already passed the House. Senators gave it unanimous approval with no debate.
