Wintry Start To Holiday Week Across Colorado

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - There could be a few travel problems on Monday and Tuesday as a Pacific storm system moves through Colorado.

We're expecting a good dose of mountain snow with some locations along and west of the Continental Divide expecting several inches.

The San Juan Mountain of southwest Colorado will see some of the highest totals.

By late Monday and early Tuesday we'll see a little rain develop in and around Denver and on the northeast plains. Some of that could change over to snow before the storm moves away Tuesday afternoon.

The rest of the week will be fairly quiet with scattered mountain snow showers and breezy conditions. It should be dry in Denver for your Thanksgiving Day.
