Rain, Snow...or a Mixture of the Two by Morning

DENVER (CBS4) - The next in a series of Pacific storms is pushing into Colorado and Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories cover just about all mountain locations through Noon on Tuesday: amounts of up to 14" could fall above 8500 feet. Denver saw another mild day with a high getting to 65 officially at the airport and 66 degrees downtown. Now rain will invade the front range and greater metro area by the early morning hours of Tuesday, quickly changing over to snow, so you may have snow for the morning rush hour, but temperatures should stay mild enough with the road surfaces warm enough that most snow will melt on the roadways...maybe a dusting on cars and lawns. By Noon Tuesday, snow and rain should be over with sunshine returning - look for a cooler high in the mid 40s.

Then look for sunshine and a high in the low 50s Wednesday; mostly sunny but cooler on Thanksgiving Day - high in the mid 40s. Sunny skies stay with us to end the weekend and right into the weekend: High I the low 50s Friday, mid 50s for your Saturday.
