Heating Up For The Labor Day Weekend

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) - Get ready for a hot Labor Day Weekend in Colorado! Temperatures fell just a touch today to the upper 80s, but that won't last long. Tonight skies stay clear, and should for the weekend.

Saturday, we're in the low 90s with plenty of sunshine statewide. A few isolated storms are possible in the high county, but overall we are dry and sunny all weekend.

Sunday, we could tie a daily record high from 1995. We are looking to hit 95 degrees! Sunday will be the hottest day of the holiday weekend.

Monday, we're still in the 90s with more sunshine.

Tuesday looks to finally cool off, possibly to the 70s! And there is a chance for rain.
