Less Wind Behind Saturday Cold Front

By  Dave Aguilera

DENVER (CBS4) - A cold front helped to cool most temperatures across the eastern plains by about 15 to 20 degrees on Saturday. There was also, a little bit of moisture that cam along with it. A few inches of snow in the mountains and a trace of rain and snow on some areas of the eastern plains.

Sunday will be mostly sunny across the state with cool temperatures holding on. The good thing will be the wind will be relaxing quite a bit so the irritating strong gusts will be giving us a break for a while. There is a chance for a little snow and low elevation rain for Sunday in the Four Corners area of the state. But, that will be the only area for Sunday moisture.

Don't forget to spring forward tonight! Set your clocks ahead one hour and also check the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
