A Mild Friday...Turning Cooler for Your Weekend

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - The workweek will ended on a sunny and mild note with the high in Denver reaching 63 degrees - 65 downtown. Colder air now moves in for the weekend dropping our temperatures and bringing only the slightest chance for a flurrie or a little freezing drizzle by Sunday, but don't expect much at all.

For Saturday, a mixture of clouds and sunshine and cooler - a high near 50. Sunday will see more of the same - maybe a snow shower - and a high only in the upper 30s. But as we begin next week, temperatures climb right back in the 50s to near 60 degrees with plenty of sunshine. Winter officially arrives on Thursday...and with it the coldest air of the season!
