Fair, Dry and Mild Right Through the Weekend Ahead

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - After a high on Monday of 57 degrees...we jumped to 71 downtown on Tuesday thanks to those warm, westerly downslope breezes, while we reached 69 officially at the airport. Look for plenty of sunshine and an even milder day on Wednesday as we warm into the mid 70s...and more of the same on Thursday.

Only slightly cooler on St. Patrick's Day, Friday, as we drop into the mid to upper 60s but that is still around a dozen degrees above normal for his time of year, as we stay under partly sunny skies.

A nice warm weekend is ahead: mostly sunny on Saturday with a high in the upper 70s; partly cloudy on Sunday with a high around 80! Then as we head into next week, computer models are beginning to show what could be a change from this dry and mild weather pattern to a cooler one with a better chance for moisture.
