Mild and Dry Through the Weekend Ahead

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) Thursday saw Denver's high inch above normal for this time of year, under sunny skies, topping out at 53 degrees at the airport and 54 downtown. Normal for this time of year is right at 50 degrees. High pressure continues to build into the area and will hang around right through the weekend keeping skies sunny and temperatures turning warmer.

We'll end the week with a jump into the low 60s on Friday and then into the mid 60s Saturday and upper 60s by Sunday. As we begin next week, a cold front brings a little snow to the mountains and cooler weather to the eastern plains and that will include greater Denver. We'll be dropping daily highs to near normal, but we'll stay with fair and dry.
