A Warm and Dry Start to the Week - Could End Cool and Wet

DENVER (CBS4) - Monday saw clouds increase as the day went on, but the temperatures still warmed nicely:15 degrees above normal when we reached 77 degrees officially at the airport, 76 downtown. A few weath thunderstorms tried to get going on the eastern plains, but there was very little support for them, so they died off about as quickly as they formed.

Tuesday should see more of the same as high again reach into the upper 70s. Slightly cooler on Wednesday with a high in the lower 70s and expect breezy conditions.

Thursday turns more seasonal with a high in the low 60s with a few showers or thunderstorms. Friday could be 25 degrees cooler than Tuesday as we fall about 10 degrees below normal - in the lower 50s - with a good chance for rain. Isolated showers and not quite as cool Saturday as we climb into the upper 50s. Sunday saves the weekend with mostly sunny skies and a high around 70.
