Touch Cooler With Few Evening T-Storms

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - A weak cool front slipped through eastern Colorado early Thursday and it was bringing slightly cooler air to the region compared to this time yesterday.

That front, along with a disturbance in the upper atmosphere, will combine to kick up a few showers and thunderstorms late this afternoon and into the evening.

Some of those could last into the overnight hours on the eastern plains and there is a chance for one or two storms to be strong or severe. The best chance for this to happen is across extreme northeast Colorado.

Temperatures on Friday will be even cooler than we have today.
