Still Just As Hot Under All Those Clouds

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Looking at all the clouds on Tuesday it just didn't seem like it could be all that warm. But it was - the highs were exactly as yesterday's: 89 downtown and 90 degrees officially at the airport. Scattered showers and a few sprinkles were found, mainly over the southwest. For Wednesday, we will see a chance for scattered showers and a slightly cooler day, but still the high will be above normal - look for a high in the lower 80s and then little change for Thursday and again Friday as we stay in the low 80s with a chance for an isolated storm.

A much cooler weekend is ahead: Scattered storms possibly Saturday, a high only in the mid to upper 60s, then an isolated storm Sunday and cooler still - high only in the low 60s.
