Little Change in the Mild, Breezy and Dry Forecast

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Thursday saw Denver reach a high just six degrees off the 2006 record high when we warmed to 79 degrees...78 downtown. Normal high for the date is just 61 degrees! More of the same for Friday: partly sunny skies, breezy at times and a high in the mid 70s. A weak cold front will push through the state on Saturday and that will bring us cooler temperatures - a high in the mid to upper 60s - but that is still warmer than normal. Easter Sunday stays partly cloudy with a pleasant high right around 70.

As we begin next week, not a whole lot of change in the forecast: staying mild - partly cloudy Monday - slight chance for an isolated springtime thunderstorm, high in the mid 70s; partly cloudy Tuesday with a high right back in the mid 70s. Then cooler weather with a slight chance for storms comes our way Wednesday and Thursday - highs in the mid to upper 60s.
