Fair and Warmer, Above Normal Temps Through The Weekend

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver reached 54° on Thursday, cooler than Wednesday, but still 8 degrees above normal for this time of year.  We'll end the week with sunny and milder conditions as we reach into the low 60s.  That type of weather continues right through the weekend:  sunny to partly sunny skies with highs in the low to mid 60s for both Saturday and Sunday.

Enjoy that weather as a major change sweeps in to start next week:  Mostly cloudy skies and much colder Monday with a chance for scattered snow showers - high in the upper 30s.  Skies clear for Tuesday, but the cold air sticks around with a high in the mid to upper 30s. As we move into the remainder of the week we'll see partly sunny skies with more seasonal highs - mostly 40s Wednesday and Thursday, low 50s by Friday.
