90s Will Give Way to 80s As the Week Goes On

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) -  Hot and dry again for Denver as storms were plentiful to the south. Just as we saw over the weekend, there are storms and heavy rains in Colorado, but they continue to confine themselves to the southern sections of the state, while Denver and points north continue dry. Under those sunny skies, Denver reached 91 degrees officially on this Monday, 89 degrees downtown.

The weather scenario doesn't seem to change much over the next several days, so expect only a slight chance for an isolated storm each afternoon with highs in the low 90s Tuesday and Wednesday, with slightly cooler conditions from Thursday into the weekend - highs in the low to mid 80s - and again, only a slight chance for an isolated storm through the end of the week.
