Sun Filled Sunday

By Dave Aguilera

DENVER (CBS4) - There will be a mix of sunshine and warmth for some areas of the state on Sunday. Other areas still may see afternoon storms fire up with a few severe spots.

Over Denver it looks like it will be mostly sunny and dry for the day. However, over the northwest and northeastern corners of the state there is a chance for severe storms late in the day.

Labor Day should also be warm and dry for the Mile High City with a few isolated storms in the mountains. Temperatures drop slightly starting on Tuesday with a few isolated storms popping up with the weather change on Tuesday afternoon.
