Hot Tuesday, Then A Pleasant Cool-Down

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Strong storms, even a few Tornado Warning were found over extreme northeast Colorado on Monday afternoon as Denver stayed sunny, warm and dry. The high for Denver reached a very warm 93 degrees officially out at the airport.
For Tuesday, just more of the same: chance for severe storms, mainly out east, with a high back in the lower 90s.

We'll begin to cool off a bit more as we head to Wednesday, still with the chance for rain and storms - look for a high in the mid to upper 80s. Then cooler still as we head to Thursday with a greater chance for storms, and a high only near 80 degrees. Low 80s for Friday, again, with a good chance for storms. As we look toward the weekend, only scattered storms Saturday, high in the low 80s; isolated storms and more seasonal Sunday - high in the mid to upper 80s.
