As Winds Begin to Die Down and Temperatures Will Start to Warm

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Tuesday still saw gusty winds in some areas - with a gust to 110mph reported at Wondervu! The jet stream was still clipping northeastern Colorado and that's where the winds generally were the strongest. The official high for Denver reached 53 degrees at the airport and 54 degrees downtown. Wednesday should see less in the way of those strong winds and more in the way of warmth - Denver's high should reach into the mid 60s with plenty of sunshine.

More dry and mild weather continues right on into the weekend: look for upper 60s on Thursday, around 70 for Friday, low 60s on Saturday, then back to the upper 60s Sunday to end the weekend on a mild note.
