Warming Up After Winter Blast

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) -

Let the snow melting begin! Our weekend storm is long gone, bringing heavy snow and rain to the Midwest. Now, temperatures are on the rise and we'll see plenty of sunshine for a few days. We hit 44 degrees in Denver today, which helped start some melting around town. I wouldn't wear your nicest shoes walking around town for a few days, as we'll be pretty slushy.

A little more mountain snow is possible on Monday night, but only a few inches.

We picked up 5.7" of snow officially at DIA, this was the snowiest day since December 16, 2016!

Ski resorts also picked up a welcome blast of snow. With the southwestern areas coming in as the big winner.

We'll get close to 60 on Thursday, with another chance for snow on Friday into Saturday. This doesn't look like a major storm for Denver as of now, but there is a chance we get some more snow!
