Patchy Fog Forming As Storm Moves Away

DENVER (CBS4) - Our soggy rain and snow maker is slowly pulling away from Colorado leading to a cool and damp Saturday night. Many areas of Front Range picked up lots of water and good April snow amounts as well.

CBS4 Weather Watchers reporting some much needed snow as well.

There are also a handful of ski areas that remain open for the season and all of them received spring snow. A Winter Weather Advisory for the mountains and foothills will end at noon on Saturday with very minor additional accumulation. A chance for occasional light snow will then continue through Saturday night in the high country.

Skies will clear almost statewide Saturday night allowing for patchy fog to settle in over some areas of the eastern plains. By about 9am or 10am on Sunday morning the fog should begin to burn off for most. Then get ready for a beautiful Sunday with sunny skies and high temperatures in the middle and upper 60s for the metro area. Monday will also be mild but may include a few late day thunderstorms.
